Our Nurses
At Cowra Veterinary Centre our fully qualified staff are committed to providing you with the highest standards in veterinary care to keep the animal in your life healthy.
Our clinic consists of two full time vets and one part time vet, as well as four nurses allowing us to offer the best veterinary care in Cowra and surrounding regions.

Adilee Allan
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Adilee has been with Cowra Veterinary Centre since 2011. Adilee likes variety so spends time on the reception desk, at our Canowindra branch clinic and in the surgery or treatment room. In her spare time, Adilee recently completed a business course at TAFE.
Away from work, Adilee and Mick are the proud parents of William and Ava and also share their home with a cool cat named Dennis, a fluffy Shih Tzu-Maltese cross named Benny and a chihuahua named Louie.

Tara Wallace
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Tara joined Cowra Veterinary Centre in 2017 after moving from Sydney to Koorawatha for a tree change. Tara spent many years working at the University of Sydney Vet Hospital in Camden and has experience in both equine and small animal nursing.
In her spare time, Tara rides her horses. Her partner Blake is a farrier by profession so obviously they both love their horses! Tara also has a cattle dog named Rory, a Jack Russell named Harvey and cat named Flea.

Sheena Lumsden
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Sheena joined our team in 2019 after moving from Newcastle to the Central West. Sheena spends most of her time on reception and helps out with puppy preschool. Sheena used to commute from Parkes every day but has moved a bit closer, now living in Eugowra with fiancé Josh.
Sheena’s pets come in all shapes and sizes from lorikeets to cats to cattle dogs. She also keeps herself busy learning and playing multiple sports and even has a second job at BP to fill in her days off.

Mickayla Camps
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
When Mickayla first started coming into Cowra Veterinary Centre with her dog Kelsey, she was still at primary school!
Mickayla started out doing volunteer work after school and helping out on Saturdays and when a vacancy came up we were more than happy for her to join our team full time while she completes her studies.
It has been great to see Mickayla grow in skill and confidence and you will find her working in surgery, after hours and on reception.

Kristy Price
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Kristy joined Cowra Veterinary Centre in 2018 with a wealth of experience in emergency veterinary nursing, most recently at an after hours hospital in Canberra.
Kristy lives in the Bumbaldry bush and is a carer for all sorts of wildlife, with wombats being a particular favourite. You are most likely to come across Kristy on Fridays and Saturdays or if you come in for an after hours emergency.

Jacqui Langfield
B. Systems Ag (Equine)
Jacqui joined our team in late 2020 as a second receptionist. Jacqui grew up at Murrumbateman and moved to Cowra 20 years ago to manage the Bamborough Pony Stud.
She has an extensive background in all things equine and runs her own pony-stock horse stud. Jacqui has also worked at Pepper Tree Equine Clinic and Cowra Meat Processors.
She and Ted are the proud parents of a very busy girl Sarah who keeps them on their toes.

Brittany Wilson
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Brittany joined the Cowra Vet team in 2021 making the trip from her family farm in chilly Cargo.
Though it sounds more like an ark than a farm – cattle, sheep, a camel, an alpaca, horses, cats and dogs.
Britt went to America to play soccer but was forced to retire from a planned professional sporting career due to injury.
Depending on the day, you will find Britt on reception, in surgery and working on Saturdays.

Bianca Cotter
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Bianca’s day job is at the credit union but her real passion lies with animals. She deserves enormous credit for completing her animal studies and a Diploma of Leadership and Management while working one full time and two part-time jobs.
Outside of work and study, Bianca enjoys travelling, going on adventures and hanging out with friends and family (when she gets the chance).
Bianca works with us on Saturday mornings.

Jennifer Berkrey
Studying Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Jen is working with the Cowra Vet team while she completes her vet nursing studies.
She does TAFE placements with us one day a week and also works on Saturday mornings.

Ashleigh Cole
Reception
Ashleigh is a new face on Reception at Cowra Vet Centre, joining us in 2021.
Ash has experience working in harness racing and shearing but most recently has had a variety of roles in the human health care sector.
Ash and her husband Scott have 4 children (Anna, Beau, Darcie & River) and are in the process of moving from Cargo to Canowindra.
In her spare time, Ash enjoys playing hockey, horse riding, sheep dog trials and training working stock dogs.
